Ruinart
Ruinart 'Blanc de Blanc' Brut NV, Champagne, France - 1.5l
Straw yellow to the eye and offering a bouquet of ripe fruit, especially nectarine on the nose, the first state of "R" comes before you vent raise a flute to your lips. Once you do so, you will not be disappointed. This is an immaculately balanced champagne, with a creamy concoction of coffee, brioche, green apples and almonds countered by just a hint of Chardonnay-influenced bitterness and acidity. The finish is also lengthy, ensuring that you'll soon find yourself seeking a refreshing refill before it's too late. "R" is an effortlessly elegant champagne that feels truly timeless and decadent upon the palate.

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
WHAT IT GOES WITH
Blanc de Blanc is an ideal aperitif for any occasion, whether celebrating an event or simply seeking to stimulate the appetite ahead of a gourmet meal. Alternatively, pair with champagne with shellfish - oysters and scallops make a particularly outstanding accompaniment - or grilled fish. Creamy cheeses also match well.

ABOUT THE VINEYARD
If you know champagne, you'll be au fait with Ruinart. After all, this vineyard holds the prestigious title as the very first champagne house in the region. Established by Nicolas Ruinart in 1729 to fulfil long-held but unfulfilled dreams of his uncle Dom Thierry, Ruinart rapidly established itself as a purveyor of memorable champagne. While many of the cuvées produced by the house are blanc de blancs, 'R" combines chardonnay grapes with pinot noir and pinot meunier, all of which are grown in a chalk mine some 38 metres below ground level. Ruinart remains an exclusive champagne house, only distributing their produce through selected sellers. The Magnum Company are delighted to be among these chosen few.
N.B. Unfortunately, the Ruinart bottles are unique in more ways than one way - the shape of this particular magnum will not fit into our wooden gift boxes.

We always intend to despatch any orders on the same day, on a next day delivery service, assuming checkout is completed before 1pm as this gives us enough time to prepare the package.
You can also track your order throughout the process, ensuring that you’re home to accept it or make alternative arrangements with DPD.
If ordering as a gift, please provide the recipient’s address and a contact telephone number so they are notified a delivery is coming. While the arrival of a magnum will surely be a welcome surprise, we want to ensure somebody is available to sign for the package. We’ll keep you updated about the delivery progress, and supply a purchase invoice that doubles as a receipt for your financial records to your email address. We never include an invoice with the package in case it is a gift.
We rarely need to process returns, but in the improbable event that we need to do so, we will offer a full refund on any product returned in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. Unfortunately we cannot refund shipping costs.
