Domaine William Fevre
William Fèvre 2019, Chablis, France - 1.5l
Made from Chardonnay grapes, William Fèvre chablis is naturally a dry white. There is far more to the flavour of this wine that simple oak, though. A refreshing scent of ripe fruit and floral tones creates an appealing experience for the nose, while the palate is in for an equal treat. Hints of pear, apple, apricot, mango, peach and lime and soft flower temper the woody initial impression, leading to a smooth and deep drinking experience. This provides the wine with genuine personality and freshness, ideal for enjoying alone or when paired with an appropriate meal.

WHAT IT GOES WITH
Chablis will always be a natural accompaniment to fish and seafood dishes, and this offering from William Fèvre is no exception. This wine is truly delectable when supped alongside oysters, lobster, sushi or grilled fish. It can also neatly match with any form of fish sauce, especially if based around fresh citrus, in addition to pleasantly matching a light chicken dish.
VINEYARD
Domaine William Fèvre is among the most celebrated houses in the Chablis region of Burgundy. Created by the man that bears the vineyard's name in 1957, and operated Monsieur Fèvre until his retirement in 1998, the house is now under the ownership of the champagne manufacturer Joseph Henriot. Beginning with a mere 7 hectares of growing space, Domaine William Fèvre is now substantially larger - and an international affair, with a second base in the Santiago region. Today, Didier Séguier manages the wine production of Domaine William Fèvre, painstakingly harvesting grapes by hand and utilising only the very finest of available ingredients.
