Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV - 75cl
Louis Roederer is a standard-bearing name in the world of champagne for good reason. This Brut Premier packs all the tantalising taste that you'd expect from such a reputable manufacturer into a single delectable magnum. Dry and bubbly, with a lengthy and complex aftertaste that lingers on the palate, every sip is a delight that bridges the twin tastes of champagne and fine wine. Matured for a minimum of four years before undertaking disgorgement, Louis Roederer Brut Premier blends hints of citrus, nuts, oak and spice to create a mesmerising combination of aroma and taste. Despite the dryness inherent in brut, this is among the most refreshing liquids to grace any champagne flute.
Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Meunier

ABOUT THE VINEYARD
Louis Roederer, based in Reims, has been a family-owned vineyard since 1833. Best known as the producers of Cristal, the vineyard is currently managed by Jean-Claude Rouzaud, the grandson of Camille Olry-Roederer – a champagne widow that inherited the business upon the death of her husband Léon, the grand-nephew of Louis Roederer himself. Camille reversed the vineyard's fortunes, turning it from a borderline bankrupt business to one of the most illustrious champagne manufacturers in the world. The house enjoys a long and illustrious history, previous acting as the official supplier of Tsar Alexander II's imperial court. The vineyard covers 444 acres in the Champagne region, ensuring that the grapes used in this NV brut are entirely homegrown.
