Chavy-Chouet
Domaine Chavy-Chouet Meursault 1er Cru 'Les Charmes' 2018, Burgundy, France - 1.5l
This is a wine that truly evolves over time. The Chardonnay in the bottle is delicate and well balanced, blending hints of hazelnut, blossom, ripe apples, vanilla and delectable citrus fruits. Upon bottling, this is an appealing but discrete concoction. This 2018 vintage, however, has aged to perfection, adding a spicy potency to the finesse and aftertaste that makes it truly memorable. Like all Chardonnay, this is a drier taste experience with an oaky aftertaste, but it lives long on the palate and remains irresistibly tempting once the cork has ben popped. In many respects, the moniker says it all - Les Charmes is effortlessly charming.

VINEYARD
The Chavy family are firmly established as reputable winemakers in the Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy for many years. Formerly, Hubert Chavy would sell the grapes grown in the vineyard to other, larger winemakers. Romaric Chavy, son of Hubert, amended the practices of the business, ensuring that Domaine Chavy-Chouet has established itself as a reputable bottler and manufacturer of its own accord. Despite tender years, Romaric boats years of experience, having began an education in the world of wine at just 12 years. Taking ownership of the vineyard at just 22, following work experience across the globe, Romaric Chavy - and the Domaine Chavy-Chouet - are stars of both the present and future of wine.

A wooden box can make your magnum look even more special, especially if you want to personalise it for a gift. We can engrave up to 50 characters, in one of five different fonts, to the front of the wooden box.
We always intend to despatch any orders on the same day, on a next day delivery service, assuming checkout is completed before 1pm as this gives us enough time to prepare the package.
You can also track your order throughout the process, ensuring that you’re home to accept it or make alternative arrangements with DPD.
If ordering as a gift, please provide the recipient’s address and a contact telephone number so they are notified a delivery is coming. While the arrival of a magnum will surely be a welcome surprise, we want to ensure somebody is available to sign for the package. We’ll keep you updated about the delivery progress, and supply a purchase invoice that doubles as a receipt for your financial records to your email address. We never include an invoice with the package in case it is a gift.
We rarely need to process returns, but in the improbable event that we need to do so, we will offer a full refund on any product returned in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. Unfortunately we cannot refund shipping costs.
