Antinori
Antinori 'Tignanello' 2013, Tuscany, Italy - 1.5l
This Tignanello offers the twin appeals of rarity alongside quality. Around 340,000 bottles of this 2013 vintage were produced in total, and while these may sound substantial, one sip will have you wondering where you may source the next. Deliciously ripe and unmistakably Italian, this red bursts with blackberries and cherries, which are smoothed and tempered by hints of tobacco, cacao, smoke, leather and spice. For a strong and memorable taste experience, look no further than Tignanello; Italian red rarely comes more full-bodied and intense, especially when paired with food.
GRAPE
-
Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon
WHAT IT GOES WITH
This wine is the perfect accompaniment for cured meats, whether hot or cold. Alternatively pair with with a cheeseboard, or a rich and hearty traditional Italian dish such as beef lasagne.
ABOUT THE VINEYARD
Tuscany has a rich tradition of winemaking, and few family names are so closely connected to the trade as that of Antinori. This legacy has been producing wine in the region since the 14th century, and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon., Now under the stewardship of the twenty-sixth generation, the Tignanello estate was acquired in 1900. Antinori owns access to some 1,400 hectares of growing territory in Italy, leading to production of some the more memorable and pre-eminent wines to emerge from the country.

A wooden box can make your magnum look even more special, especially if you want to personalise it for a gift. We can engrave up to 50 characters, in one of five different fonts, to the front of the wooden box.
We always intend to despatch any orders on the same day, on a next day delivery service, assuming checkout is completed before 1pm as this gives us enough time to prepare the package.
You can also track your order throughout the process, ensuring that you’re home to accept it or make alternative arrangements with DPD.
If ordering as a gift, please provide the recipient’s address and a contact telephone number so they are notified a delivery is coming. While the arrival of a magnum will surely be a welcome surprise, we want to ensure somebody is available to sign for the package. We’ll keep you updated about the delivery progress, and supply a purchase invoice that doubles as a receipt for your financial records to your email address. We never include an invoice with the package in case it is a gift.
We rarely need to process returns, but in the improbable event that we need to do so, we will offer a full refund on any product returned in its original packaging and in a re-sellable condition. Unfortunately we cannot refund shipping costs.
