Upon popping the cork of this wine, the nose is immediately treated to a balanced blend of vanilla, dark fruit and oak. While this alone is enough to make the mouth water, what comes next is truly special. Crianza is among the smoothies red wines out there, massaging the palate with a fine concoction of ingredients. There is an unmistakable spice, but this is a creamy and smooth drinking experience, dry and bold but with limited acidity. The aftertaste lingers too, ensuring that you'll soon be seeking a second glass to relive the unmistakable experience.

WHAT IT GOES WITH

Naturally, as a deep and flavoursome red wine, our initial inclination to recommend pairing this wine with lamb, steak or game. Unusually for a fruity wine, however, Crianza is also a fine pairing with fish. Serve this alongside a grilled fish or cod and you will be pleasantly surprised at how well each ingredient complements the other.
